Wood-Lok HPM passes Texas Transportation Institute product tests

Wood-Lok HPM High Performance matrix

Proving that it meets the Texas Department of Transportation revegetation and erosion control requirements, Applegate’s WOOD-LOK HPM has completed the Texas Transportation Institute’s rigorous product testing and it has performed remarkably well. WOOD-LOK HPM is now on the qualified products list for the Texas Department of Transportation and as a result has also met the requirements of many other states Department of Transportation for hydraulic erosion control. WOOD-LOK HPM is a premium hydraulically applied erosion control product, which has met diverse domestic and international erosion control requirements. WOOD-LOK HPM is now an industry accepted hydraulic erosion control product.
WOOD-LOK HPM consists of long strand virgin wood fibers that are sized for rapid mixing and maximum tank loading capacity. Contractors using WOOD-LOK HPM receive a product that does not require a cure time, therefore can be applied just prior to a rain event and has a functional longevity of over 12 months. The high strength hydrocolloid binders form a porous erosion resistant mat that maintains its properties despite repeated re-wetting from rain and irrigation.

Starting in 1978 with one small factory in Okemos, Michigan, today Applegate has nine manufacturing facilities across the United States and Canada.
